Can I travel to Finland now?

Until 25 July 2021, Finland is welcoming travellers from countries where the Covid-19 level is less than 25 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to visit the country for leisure, or if they prove that they are fully vaccinated. These include:

What are the requirements for travelling to Finland?


If you are an eligible traveller to Finland from the countries above, there is no mandatory testing on arrival in Finland.

To travel to Finland, you must have:

  • a certificate to show that you're received the full Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to arriving in Finland
  • received at least one dose of vaccination no less than 14 days before travelling. If you have only been vaccinated once, you will be required to have a Covid-19 test taken within 3-5 days after your arrival in Finland
  • a certificate of a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival, and within 3-5 days after arrival
  • certificate needs to be in either English, Finnish or Swedish. A certified translation can also be used as a certificate.
