Chinatown/CBD Area:

1. Pearl's Hill City Park

Often overlooked by Singaporeans, Pearl's Hill City Park is a lush green space in Chinatown! And it's located just minutes away from Chinatown MRT Station. The park is perfect if you need a respite from the bustling city. Here, you'll find a small reservoir at the top of the hill and a stunning view of the city skyline ?

2. People's Park Complex

A favourite spot for photo enthusiasts, the open carpark of People's Park Complex is an IG-worthy hideout. Most people might know the complex from its bright yellow exterior and Brutalist architecture but here's where you can also catch a nice panoramic view of the skyscrapers in the CBD. It's also nice to see the contrast between the shophouses and skyscrapers from here.

#HHWT Tip: Take the lift to the 5th floor and head up the staircase right beside the lift landing to get to the carpark. Do remember to keep your voices down as the building is actually home to many people.

3. Pinnacle @ Duxton

This is the only place on this list that you'll need to pay for! Did you know that the Pinnacles@Duxton is the world's tallest public housing development? With its stunning architecture, this towering block of flats is impossible to miss as it sticks out amidst heritage shophouses in the area. Head up to the 50th floor to get on the skybridge and sky garden and you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view, ranging from the sea and Keppel Terminal all the way to the skyline of downtown Singapore ?

4. Esplanade Roof Terrace

The Esplanade Roof Terrace is an amazing spot just to relax or have a takeaway meal with your loved ones. You'll be able to enjoy wonderful views of the Singapore skyline from here. The best time to head to the roof terrace would be right after sunrise or just before sunset. Photographers would normally hang around on the Esplanade Roof Terrace during this time to catch a magnificent shot of the “Golden Hour” ? behind Marina Bay’s city skyline. Marina Barrage is probably where you can get a panoramic view of Singapore's skyline, with a great view of Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Flyer all at once! Besides hanging out with your loved ones, you can also fly a kite, catch the sunset and watch the city light up.

6. Mount Faber

With a view of the city on one side, and Sentosa Island and the sea on the other, the view at the top of  Mount Faber is the best of both worlds. To get to the top of Mount Faber, you can either have a good workout by climbing up from Harbourfront MRT station or drive up. 7. SkyVille @ Dawson

SkyVille @ Dawson might seem like just another public housing in Singapore but its roof terrace offers gorgeous views of Singapore ? Best part is, unlike Pinnacle @ Duxton, there is no entrance fee so you can stay as long as you like and capture as many photos!

8. Henderson Waves

Uncover the magnificent view from Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge, Henderson Waves. At 36 metres above the ground, this bridge is part of Singapore’s 10-km Southern Ridges nature walk and it connects Mt Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park. While you’re here, you’ll notice amazing views of the lush greenery set against the backdrop of the Singapore skyline.
