1. Desa Pinggan Kintamani

2. Pemuteran Village Bali

Located near West Bali National Park and Menjangan Island, Pemuteran Village is a small village in the northwest of the island of Bali. This village in Buleleng will spoil you with the charm of an exotic yet quiet and calm white sand beach. This tourism village is on the list of “10 Best Destinations in Asia", according to Lonely Planet. A perfect destination for diving and snorkelling, you can find a large number of clownfish, parrotfish, manta rays, and whale sharks pass the waters or observe their coral reef project.

How to get there: This village can be reached about 3.5 hours from Denpasar by car or motorbike. If you are travelling from the south of Bali, you can take the Munduk route and pass lakes on the mountain or through Puputan with panoramic views of terraced rice fields.

3. Penglipuran Village Bali

Penglipuran Village offers you an experience that will make you feel closer to nature. This tourism village is traditionally constructed by preserving the traditional methods of bamboo architecture from Bali. Almost everything you will find here is made from plants, from the house gates, kitchens, furniture, doorways, house gates, to the roofs. Many of the styles, such as the bamboo roof shingles, are distinctive to this community and cannot be found elsewhere. In 2018, Penglipuran Village was recognized among the top three cleanest villages in the world according to the readers’ choice in travel magazine CN Traveler.

How to get there: This village is located near Kintamani, set along the countryside situated among the hills. If there’s no traffic, you could get to Penglipuran Village from Ngurah Rai Airport with a travel time of 1 hour 40 minutes.

Entrance fee: Rp. 10,000 – Rp. 25,000 (children) to Rp. 15,000 – Rp. 30,000 (adults).
