Just when we thought Tokyo Disneyland couldn't get any more irresistible, Tokyo Disney Resort has announced FOUR new attractions that will be added to the park in 2020.

The biggest addition we're most excited about is the new Beauty and the Beast (one of my favourite Disney movies) themed land, which will be an expansion of Fantasyland. The new themed land will include an 8-minute long attraction, exclusive to Tokyo Disneyland. “Guests board enchanted serving dishes that dance in rhythm to the film’s well-known music and follow Belle on a romantic musical adventure inside the enchanted Castle where she dances her way into the heart of Beast, just in time to break the fateful spell.”, according to the press release.

This area of the park will also include a shop and a restaurant. We can't wait to see the Beast's castle and the village where Belle lives already!

The expansion of Fantasyland will also include Tokyo Disneyland's first ever full-scale indoor theater for live entertainment. So look forward to seeing your favourite Disney Friends in this storybook theater environment, which sits up to 1,500!

Remember where Big Hero 6 took place in? Yup, San Fransokyo (San Francisco + Tokyo). The newest Big Hero 6-themed attraction opening in 2020 couldn't be more apt! Guests can join adorable Baymax for an "exciting musical 'whip ride' that swings them unpredictably round and round", according to the press release. Plus, if you love the flavoured popcorn found in Tokyo Disney parks (like us), you'll be excited to know that there will be a shop next to the attraction selling popcorn in MULTIPLE FLAVOURS! Perhaps it's time to bring around two popcorn buckets? :P

If you enjoy taking photos with the Disney characters, look forward to the new greeting attraction in Toontown, where guests can meet Minnie Mouse, the fashion designer! Not only will you be able to snap photos with her, you'll be able to see her design studio with interactive elements.

We can't wait to experience Tokyo Disneyland in 2020 already! Since a three-year wait is a considerably long time... You can always visit Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea while waiting for the new attractions :D Check out our guides to get the most out of your day at the happiest places on Earth (in Tokyo)!
