Selling Philly cheesesteaks at affordable prices was unheard of until Yellow Submarines Cheesesteaks set foot in the bustling neighbourhood of Toa Payoh Central in 2013. From its humble beginnings to opening up two more stores across the island, it became a popular hangout spot for everyone regardless of age. Fast forward to last year, their Bishan outlet was the last one standing before closing down due to Covid-19. But now, they have re-surfaced back to our shores (pun intended ?) at the very same Bishan outlet with the Philly cheesesteaks we all love! ?

Yellow Submarines Cheesesteaks Reopens At Bishan After Closing Down

On 5th Feb, they’ve reopened the Bishan outlet located in Kim San Leng Coffeeshop, with their yellow submarines, or simply beef-stuffed rolls dripping with cheese! If you’re not sure or perhaps you need a little refresher on what’s best on the menu, we chose a few for you to decide on!

There’s a reason why their Yellow Submarine Classic is their signature dish. Thinly sliced sirloin steaks are pan-grilled to tender and juicy perfection before being stuffed in toasted fluffy bread rolls already slathered with tomato sauce. The rolls are smothered with generous amounts of cheese sauce, and well, we don’t need to tell you what it tastes like, cause that dripping cheese is enough to make all of us drool! Caramelised onions are also mixed in with the beef slices, which makes it the closest thing to what a Philly cheesesteak is all about ?

We Singaporeans need our spice, and their Mala Submarine has come to fulfil it! Fragrant Mala sauce is tossed in with your choice of sandwich filling. Mix it in together with the cheese and you’re going to get a burst of flavours swirling around your mouth! For most of their Submarine sandwiches, you can choose either chicken or fish as your meat options! ?

They also have burgers such as Single Hit and C-Class Boomer, and tasty sides such as chicken nuggets and their heavenly thick-cut fries: Crisp on the outside but still fluffy on the inside ?

If you're still craving cheese, the Hokkaido Cheese Toast will definitely do the trick! Just look at that magnificent cheese pull! ?
