Alhambra Satay is the first stall you need to try. The original restaurant was set up in the 1960s at the original Satay Club, and it's been a family-run business ever since. The skewers are still personally hand-cut and prepared piece-by-piece, and even their peanut sauce is handmade in-house! ? Choose between Chicken, Beef, or Mutton Satay - it's 10 sticks for just $9, and comes with rice cakes too. You can even mix and match the meats to try all three at once! After overcoming numerous obstacles she's finally opened her first physical store at Xin Tekka! ? You can taste the fruits of her labour in her range of traditional and modern Apam Balik flavours. The Copa Cabana ($8.40) is a chocolatey treat with banana slices and a molten chocolate filling that will sweeten your day.
