Xin Tekka has 2 halal hawker stalls you should check out - one following a family recipe spanning generations, and another that's putting a modern twist on some familiar favourites! ?

Alhambra Satay is the first stall you need to try. The original restaurant was set up in the 1960s at the original Satay Club, and it's been a family-run business ever since. The skewers are still personally hand-cut and prepared piece-by-piece, and even their peanut sauce is handmade in-house! ? Choose between Chicken, Beef, or Mutton Satay - it's 10 sticks for just $9, and comes with rice cakes too. You can even mix and match the meats to try all three at once! Add on favourite side dishes like the Kentang Ball ($6) to complete your meal and get you ready to go out for the day.

Once you've had something savoury, head over to Da Boomz Delights for something sweet! The founder, Wardah, is a single parent who started out running a home-based business and making regular appearances at bazaars and other pop-up events. After overcoming numerous obstacles she's finally opened her first physical store at Xin Tekka! ? You can taste the fruits of her labour in her range of traditional and modern Apam Balik flavours. The Copa Cabana ($8.40) is a chocolatey treat with banana slices and a molten chocolate filling that will sweeten your day. There's also Peanut and Corn ($5.80), Durian King ($8.40), and Biskopi ($8.40) which is topped with biscoff biscuits.

Plus from now until 31 August 2020, you can enjoy FREE parking when you dine at Xin Tekka! Just spend a minimum of $20 and approach any Xin Tekka staff to claim your free parking coupon. ? Trips to Little India have just gotten so much easier - if you're planning a day out with friends or family, make sure to stop by Xin Tekka to enjoy these delicious dishes! ?
