The heat is on this upcoming weekend - famous F1 banners up on lamp posts, safety barriers surrounding the race track, and some of you may even be lucky enough to spot the drivers themselves arriving at the airport!

F1 season is back in full swing in Singapore once again, and we bet you're as excited as us right now! If you didn't get any tickets (tickets were sold out quick!) or the prices are just too high for you, fret not we've got you covered with a few spots to sneak a peek of the race without paying!

Follow us on Telegram for the latest updates:https://bit.ly/3LnFN1F

Before we start, here's the circuit map for F1 Singapore Grand Prix this year for reference!

1. Marina Square

Here, you'll be able to see the stretch between T6 and T7, but we recommend heading to the Roof Garden on the third floor for an unobstructed view! Plus, you might also see the other side of the track (T15 to T16)!

Before you begin the race (by race, we mean your eyes moving as fast as you can trying to spot the drivers on the track), fill up with any of the halal eateries in Marina Square, such as Seoul Garden, Sofra Turkish Restaurant and more. Just click here for the full list!
Address: Marina Square, 6 Raffles Boulevard, S(039594)
Opening Hours: 10am - 10pm daily

P.S. If you want a closer look, the overhead link bridge between Millenia Walk and Marina Square offers a prime vantage point for turn 6. Snap some shots, and when you’re done, head inside to cool down from the heat!

2. Helix Bridge

Helix Bridge has always been a popular spot - this public bridge has a great view of turns 18 to 21! This means viewers will have a close-up of the drivers zipping down the homestretch and crossing the finish line! However, most of the bridge might be closed off by officials during race days, so there's limited space available! If you're a true blue fan, you have to come down early to book your spots - be prepared for heavy crowds, though. Since leaving your spot to get food will be tough, bring along some snacks and pack some food from halal eateries located from Marina Bay Sands, just a 10-min walk away!

3. National Gallery rooftop

The open-air rooftop overlooking the Padang (where many F1 activities will take place) is sure to be a viewing hotspot! It might just be a sneak peek of the cars whizzing past, but the fresh air, cool displays of arts and surrounding panaromic views will be worth it ? Feeling peckish? Just head down to the first floor, and dig into halal Spanish Catalan-inspired food from The Great Mischief!

(Note: If you're heading there, enter through the Coleman Street and Parliament Place entrances as the Padang Atrium entrance will be closed from 15 to 17 September)

Address: 1 St Andrew's Rd, #05-01, Singapore 178957
Opening hours: 10am-7pm (Mon-Thurs), 10am-10pm (Fri-Sun)

4. The National Library

Watching F1 from a library? Yup, it's possible. Go to the 12th floor, and you'll see a huge window on the left with a view of Suntec City and Marina Bay, where you’ll be able to catch the cars zooming down Esplanade Bridge and onto Raffles Avenue (T13 to 15). Remember it's still a library, so no cheering is allowed! There's plenty to check out for halal food options at Bugis Junction, Bugis+ and more! Just refer to our handy Bugis halal food guide here!

One Fullerton

Right in the middle of the action, the One Fullerton area is a highly fought for space to see the F1 cars in action. Near the T13 bend, you'll be treated with a thrilling F1 experience! Remember to come early and grab your spot! You can pack some food as well to ease the hunger pangs as you wait! You don't have to travel far to fill your stomach with some delicious halal food in the Marina Bay area.

Let us know if we missed any spots! Do share this article with your fellow F1 fans!
