The Enchanted Forest is an immersive kid-friendly experience containing 4 zones designed around the 4 elements featured in Disney's Frozen 2. Battle against earth, wind, fire, and water and complete the challenges in each zone to take home a special treat at the end!
You can redeem an exclusive Disney's Frozen 2 activity pack, currency pouch, tote bag, keychain or more! ? To experience the Enchanted Forest, you just need to spend SGD50 in a single same-day receipt at Changi Airport or Jewel Changi Airport to redeem 1 play pass. After enjoying the Enchanted Forest, head over to the Departure Hall Immigration area for a free Frozen Wonderland The backdrops are based on scenes from Disney's Frozen 2 - that's the Dark Sea on the left that Elsa has to conquer in the movie! ? On 22-24 Nov and 29 Nov-1 Dec, there are also meet-and-greet sessions with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf held here. The Meet-and-Greet slots are first-come-first-serve and passes will be issued 30 minutes before the session begins. We recommend arriving at least 30 - 45 minutes earlier to make sure you get a slot!
Meet-and-Greet
Event Dates: 22 - 24 Nov 2019 and 29 Nov - 1 Dec 2019
Event Times: 11.30AM, 2PM, 3.30PM, 5PM, 6.30PM (First-come-first-served basis, 1 Meet-and-Greet pass per family). Backdrops are accessible daily from 10AM - 10PM.
In the evening, the backdrop transforms into a stage for a spectacular show. We were treated to a special appearance by Elsa, Anna, and Olaf just for opening night! ? For future shows, it'll be a light-and-sound extravaganza featuring life-sized statues of your favourite characters. The show is free for all, and the stage is even raised for easier viewing! There are 4 timings for the shows, so we recommend grabbing a bite at one of the Halal eateries in Terminal 3 before having some post-dinner entertainment.

After watching the show, pick up some Disney's Frozen 2 merchandise to go along with it! The pop-up store is located right next to the backdrop and its shelves are stocked with everything from clothing to Funko Pops to child-safe water bottles and cutlery! Your entire house might end up looking like a tribute to Disney's Frozen 2 if you get too enthusiastic. ?

Jewel Changi Airport
There's no end to the festive excitement over at Jewel Changi Airport either. ? If you enter Jewel via Terminal 1, you'll see a 16 metre-tall Christmas tree decked out with beautiful lights - the tallest tree ever in Changi! During this festive period, the Shiseido Forest Valley (which is usually free entry for all) will also have restricted entry between 5PM to 11.30PM for a special Christmas light-up and the Jewel Christmas Spectacular live show.
P.S. To gain entry to the Shiseido Forest Valley during this period, simply spend a minimum of SGD50 in a single same-day receipt at Changi or Jewel to redeem 2 entry slots. I actually thought that the Jewel Christmas Spectacular would be a simple song-and-dance number but I was (pleasantly) proved wrong! The 15-minute performance used a variety of modern and contemporary tunes, and the performers danced a variety of styles including some hip-hop inspired moves! They were even dressed in creative costumes that stuck to the magical, festive theme without feeling too cliched.
Throughout the performance, the dancers moved around the HSBC Rain Vortex getting the kids in the audience to join in as well. ? I definitely think this is worth the SGD50 entry price because the performers really draw you into the performance with them, and it was one of the most impressive 'mall' live performances I've ever seen!
P.S. There's also a Snowfall Spectacular at the Shiseido Forest Valley where they'll pump out artificial snow at intervals between 6PM to 12AM. The snow is very light and soft, and there was a very generous amount of it too. There are still warnings all over the area to not consume it, but you can still have fun trying to catch it on your hand! ?

After a long day of festivities, drop by the Canopy Park at Level 5 for the Jewel Festive Market that's free to enter! Inspired by Arendelle from Disney's Frozen 2 the Market has a mix of snack stalls and workshops for all to enjoy. You can take a photo with Santa Claus when he makes an appearance, or sign up for a workshop teaching everything from ukelele-painting to leathercraft and even terrarium-crafting.
There are also several Muslim-owned stalls open including Sofnade, Meatballs In A Bucket, and The Fab Five. Dig into Rainbow Cotton Candy, Mac and Cheese, Meatballs and Mash, and even some Christmas-inspired soft drinks while you browse the Market, or explore the rest of Jewel! ? If you're willing to pay a little more to get a truly unique experience, you can also enter the Canopy Park which has several attractions lined up for this special season The Snow Walk Spectacular is one of the standout events that young kids are sure to enjoy. ? Each participant is given special spikes to strap onto the bottom of your shoes - and then you can walk through a short winding path lined with snow! The snow is the same artificial snow as the Snowfall Spectacular and has a soft texture that almost feels genuine.

Before leaving Jewel in the evening, make sure to stop for a look at the Christmas Light & Sound Show at the HSBC Rain Vortex. One of the best vantage points for the show is within the Shiseido Forest Valley, but you can go up to the balconies on the upper floors to catch a look of the magic. The limited-time show uses an upbeat rendition of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" by the Avalon Pop Orchestra, and follows the movement of a snowflake through a blizzard. ?

I must confess that I'm not the kind of person who goes out of her way to attend these seasonal events, but I was really impressed by how extensively and intricately detailed Changi's Frozen Wonderland is. From incorporating beautiful decorations into existing features such as the Canopy Garden, to weaving in elements and characters of Disney's Frozen 2, I really enjoyed myself and I think I would definitely consider going back to enjoy the festivities another day. ?
