How to get to Sentosa beaches

It’s relatively easy to get to Sentosa but what about getting to the three main beaches on the island? ? If you’re visiting during peak periods (Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays), you are required to make a booking first unless advised otherwise. Bookings are only available 5 days before the intended visit date. You may choose from two timeslots: Morning: 8AM - 1PM | Afternoon: 2PM - 7PM. ? But if you’re visiting during the weekday, you dont have to make a booking.

Travel for FREE within the island and to get to the beaches by looking out for the Sentosa Express, Sentosa Bus and Beach Shuttle! They’ll take you to the stops nearby attractions and eateries which is convenient!

1. Siloso Beach

Everyone’s familiar with Siloso Beach, right? It’s the most well-known beach in Sentosa! ? Crowned as a thrill-seeker’s playground, stepping into the beach area will transport you to an exciting coastal escape. You can sign up for activities like bungee jumping at AJ Hackett, zip-lining at Mega Adventure Park, indoor skydiving at iFly Singapore, and water-jetpacking at Ola Beach Club. ? And as much as it’s a great place for adrenaline junkies, it’s equally as great of a place for visitors who want to relax, and people watch!

The beach has a very open area and a shallow coast, making it perfect for ball sports like volleyball. ? You can bask in the exciting sights and sounds that surround you at Siloso Beach! And if you’re staying till after dark, marvel at the newest interactive experience, Magical Shores, which starts from 7.30OM - it runs every night! ✨

2. Palawan Beach

You can get to Palawan Beach by taking the tram from Beach Station for an exciting and relaxing family day. If you’re in for an adventure, cross the rope bridge to the islet that is the “Southernmost Point of Continental Asia” to see breathtaking sights! ? Watch passing ships go by from the watchtower and get a bird's eye view of the beachfront. You can swim and do water sports here in the calm, turquoise lagoons. If you're looking for some wet 'n' wild fun, don't miss sliding up and down the island's latest water-theme attraction - Hydrodas! ? This beach is more catered towards families and couples because of its quieter and tranquil atmosphere.

3. Tanjong Beach

Located off-the-beaten-track at the southern end of Sentosa's beachfront coastline, this beach is perfect for those seeking some quiet respite from the city. ? During the earlier parts of the weeks, the beach is rather quiet but gets buzzier over the weekend as events like Frisbee matches start taking place! You might even see some familiar beach athletes during your visit. ? Try stand-up paddling if you’re looking for a watersport with an intense core workout.

The waters here are relatively calmer when compared to the other Sentosa beaches. Which is why you’ll see many tranquil activities like paddle yoga! We recommend you visit this beach for the most peaceful atmosphere (it’s located further down South from Siloso beach so you most definitely won’t hear the excited screams of zipliners)!
