The relaxing atmosphere combined with the various sights and sounds is enough to get anyone in the festive mood. 😎 This weekend, TWILIGHT: Flea & Feast SG is opening its marketplace at Downtown East in Pasir Ris! Grab a food or shopping bag and put on your most comfortable pair of shoes, because there will be so many exciting things to look forward to from flea markets to halal street food. Happening from 21st to 24th October 2022, TWILIGHT is a community driven event in Singapore! Since its debut in 2017, TWILIGHT has taken place twice a year during the weekends at Suntec City and is known to be a laid back festival marketplace for local businesses to gather and sell their products and wares to visitors. 😁 Not to mention, the event is bustling with an array of halal street food, live performances, flea market, movie screenings, grooming services and children’s activities!
What makes it unique this year is that for the first time ever, TWILIGHT will be held in eastern part of Singapore at Downtown East and closer proximity to the nearby neighbourhood and housing estates! 😄 This is also the first time they are hosting the event both indoor (D'Marquee) and outdoor (Open Plaza 1 and 2) which means that there's ALOT to see.
We’ve been told by TWILIGHT themselves that all their food stall are Muslim-friendly and/or halal-certified so you can be sure to find something that you’ll like and enjoy. There are about 28 food vendors! Some of which include BOO-EH, Chulop!, Satay Ummi, Pop’s Cafe and much much more! 😍
If you’re here to shop, you’ll need to plan ahead because TWILIGHT has invited over 130 retailers who are all local businesses! Find jewellery, clothing, prayer garments and more! The best part is that this event advocates for local businesses and wants to share these brands with Singaporeans.
Other forms of entertainment available includes game corners and children’s activities as well as a total of 8 movie screenings throughout the event so be sure to get a good look around the marketplace, grab as much snacks as you want and hurry to catch the screenings! 😉
