We are kinda disappointed as the tide was high and the wave was too strong for us to visit. Do check IG @6sot_official for opening updates. We still head there to visit , we could still view it from a far. Those that would like to try fresh raw seafood there is a shed right beside the ticketing booth. There is a parking lot 5 mins from the area. Before reaching the coast there is a small stretch of shops selling food, snacks, carnival games and suvenior.

The place is a good one to spend some time on as there are a lot of amazing spots to take some cute photos. It basically is a large cliff encompassing it. You can just walk around the cliff and then exit out through the other end.

Although the place is crowded with tourists, the natural formed cliffs are spectacular. There are elderly ladies sitting at certain spots selling live sea cucumbers, sea squirts, sea conches & abalone. Crystal clear ponds in the rocks. Really beautiful place to spend some time walking across the cliffs from end to end.

Yongmeori Coast is one of Jeju’s most iconic natural landmarks, known for its stunning, layered volcanic rock formations shaped over millions of years. Carved by volcanic activity and sea erosion, the rugged cliffs and unique tuff ring terrain create a dramatic and unforgettable coastal landscape. Walking along the base of the cliffs beside the ocean, visitors are treated to breathtaking views and a deep connection with nature. The area is rich with local legends and has appeared in countless travel photos and documentaries, adding to its allure. The trail is only accessible during low tide and may be closed during high tide or rough sea conditions, so be sure to check ahead. Along the path, local vendors often offer fresh sea snacks like sea urchins—an authentic and tasty part of the experience. Please be mindful while walking and try not to step on the sea mussels along the trail. Let’s all do our part to protect and preserve this beautiful natural site. ?
