This bridge is just right beside Lotte Department Store. It is open at 2PM once a day only for 15 minutes. Tourists are allowed to stand in the middle of the road for photo-shooting as all cars are managed to stop and wait.
A well-known bridge in Busan with a deep history way back to the 1900s. One of the must-visit instagrammable places as well as for bridge lovers.
Many people gathered on saturday to watch the bridge being lifted. The schedule for bridge lifting is eveey Saturday 2pm. So we planned our itinerary to match the schedule. And it was a well spent time around this area.
Yeongdo Bridge has a history of sharing joy and sadness with Busan citizens since Japanese colonial era. The drawbridge is held every Saturday at 2 p.m., and it is recommended to watch from the observation deck on the 13th floor of the department store right next door.
