This is one of the oldest family run art gallery in Penang showcasing the original artworks by Chuah Thean Teng and sons. Chuah Thean Teng was the pioneer of batik painting in fine art form and his sons have continued his legacy by taking this artform and developing it in their own styles. Their paintings are collected internationally by private collectors and museums. This gallery is worth visiting if you are an art lover and would like to learn more about the history of Malaysian art and batik painting in particular. The rest of the store sells trinkets but it is the art gallery at the back which is the highlight. Take the opportunity to talk to the artist Chuah Thean Teng (son) to learn more about the works.

This is a private and high quality artwork gallery. We luckily have a deep talk with Owner - Artist S. Teng, a very adorable person. Highly recommend for love art friends once visiting Penang.

An interesting and quirky place with some amazing pieces. We were the only customers and the lady was vey attentive.

A ‘must visit’ place in Penang for fine art lovers. Each of the artworks are masterpieces.
