Unreal! We loved our experience here. And it was well worth the $$ especially because we combined this family ticket with the Sky Tower family ticket. Our tour guide Adam was awesome - funny, entertaining and had us all fully engaged. He was particularly patient with the children in our group - some who were quite fixated on being scared in the 'horror' section. Loved the hands-on component of the tour. Really very interesting and worth the visit!

Totally worth the time and money. An experience not to be missed if you live in Auckland or are visiting for a few days. Booking in advance is useful, though not necessary. They start on time and there are multiple tours running in parallel, so better to be on time or early. There are many activities where you can play around, so better sure to try out all of them. You can click your own photos freely. Overall, be ready for a fun 90-minute tour.

I had a great time at the Weta Unleashed experience. Super creative from the secret door opening to getting to see behind the scenes of the workshops, learning about the work Weta does - all the way to the quirk staff made animations. Our tour guide Deja was fun and quirky and very informative! Highly recommend for any media kid / film buff!

I had a very great time there. All the machines were completely working. The environment was very nice and ambient . The staff were very friendly. It is definitely recommended by me for all age groups, including children, to adults. There are a lot of working props and models which we ARE allowed to interact with and we can see the hard work They have put to make every model with utmost details.

The tour is great. The employees put on a show and make it fun. Seeing how the movies are made and getting to touch things right in front of you is a lot of fun. Of course, their gift shop is also very cool and they have tons of Lord of the Rings merch. If you happen to be in town, check it out.
