Very interesting museum. It talks about the role of women in the society and important women role models in history. Divided in 5 floors (5 was closed) they all have their subject. The audio is interesting but it doesn’t say the same as the notes so you still have to read. It’s more personal stories being told. The entire visit is between 1.5-2h depending on audio or not. Fun activity but it gets really hot, there is no AC

A very good place to visit. I especially enjoyed listening to the life stories of the woman selling the goods on the Street as that let me realise how hard life they are going through. Recommend for sure if you are around.

The best part of this museum was the floor focusing on women’s roles in the war and recent history. It was great to hear narratives on women and women’s perspectives in the war. Two of the other floors focused on women and family and women and fashion, both of which did a brilliant job at showcasing the culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups, but thematically it felt a shame to divide the three floors into ‘family’ ‘fashion’ and ‘everything else/the war’. Tickets were 40,000 each I think. Glad we went, wasn’t busy. Took about an hour but could have spent 2 here, we just got here in the last hour it was open

i spent a little over an hour here, and it cost 40k pp. i’d definitely recommend stopping in. i learned so much about the vietnamese lifestyle, especially within women. it is about marriage, family life, having babies, work/labour/harvesting, clothing, tools & much more. it also explains mother goddess, along with the traditions following each ceremony+ some information about the war. i found it extremely interesting!

Went on 1 June, had substantial number of foreigners/tourists as well. Got to learn about the roles of women in ancient Vietnam, and how they have contributed to the country, economy and homes. Spent around 1.5 hours there to get a better understanding of the history and stories.
