I went to the VanThanh Park at the cuisine culture festival last weekend. The event was hold carefully. The park is big with a lot of decorations with riverside walk. You can also observe the landmark tower from the coffee cottage . The place has much fresh air and clean also

Lovely swimming pool a short grab taxi away from the hustle and bustle. Very chilled area, and only 70k entry and plenty of sun loungers etc. Bring a drink and snacks ideally as shop a short walk away.

I go here for the swimming pool and to keep my tan. I like to come around 11 am when the sun is getting hot. I'll stay until 3 pm and hopefully get out before the kids and locals start to show up. It's quite, the water in the pool is OK. If it were my pool, I'd work on getting rid of the black algae growing on the sides. The downside is it's adjacent to a Saigon canal/open sewer so if the wind blows from the wrong direction, it smells terrible.

Second time I come here. Nice park with excellent swimming pool for only 7000 dong. The Van Thanh metro stop is just next to the park. Little cafe at the entrance for drinks. Bring your own pad lock if you want to use the lockers.
