10 Uzumasa Higashihachiokacho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8586, Japan
Nice place to spend half a day in. You can enjoy the place in 3 hours max, thinking if the price was worth it. It can be. I mainly went for the Evangelion Statue which was definitely the best part of the attraction. I highly recommend you get the card offered to you and take the photo in front of the statue professionally. It’s free, and you get the option to pay for the other pictures. It’s an experience. Apart from that, there’s the ninja show, a samurai show, and the Power Rangers Museum with the outfits and motorcycles in it. As for food, it’s okay. There’s a decent ramen shop inside the theme park. Oh, plus points is that there’s not a lot of people. Queues are short.
So glad we went! We went to almost every tourist attraction in Kyoto and wasn’t sure if this park was worth a visit. So glad we went. Our kids loved the park and all the attractions. We also paid extra to rock climb. The female at the desk was cold and not friendly at all. Luckily our climbing instructor Yuta was kind and great with the kids!! He helped make the climbing experience so worth it.
Surprisingly good! The area was somewhat out of the way but my son enjoyed the ninja activities as well as the ninja show - even if we don't understand Japanese at all. The ninja activities are somewhat geared for kids more than their parents, maybe except for the escape room as that will require the parent's assistance for younger kids. The Evangelion attraction would tickle fans of the anime and is included in the entrance fee. The movie set is also nice for some photo ops especially if there's not much people in the park.
