If you want to enjoy the stunning view from The Peak Tower, you’ll most likely need to enter one of the restaurants or dining areas there. Here’s how it works: You take the tram up to the top, and once you’re there, you naturally want to enjoy the view. But the best viewing spots are mostly taken up by paid restaurants. Whether that’s ethical or not is up for debate. For example, we didn’t even want to eat, but ended up paying just to access the view. Of course, there are alternative spots where you can see the view without paying or dining—but if you want that iconic photo from the top, be prepared for this setup.

A tourist trap for sure, but this gives you amazing views of Hong Kong though it would have been better if there was no smog in the city, with clearer views. The tower is basically a mall, line with shops and other activities. The Sky Terrace (HK$75 on its own, or HK$168 with the Tram tickets) at the top of the tower is a great vantage point to view the city either at night or during the day. You can view the “A Symphony of Lights” from the Peak at night starting 8pm. The tower also has Madame Tussauds and Monopoly Dreams, tickets are extra. Giving this a 4/5. Views are incredible but you need to time your visit during a clear day/night. It’s a bit pricey already. There’s a group that would take your photos at Sky Terrace, but don’t bother unless you’re willing to pay at least HK$200 for a single photo, getting a digital copy is extra. Note: If you don’t want to pay extra for Sky Terrace, there are areas at the Tower where you can still enjoy views of the city.

The peak tower is like a mall with the peak tram's last station where you get off. Multiple floors of restaurants, shops and souvenir shops along with some game and activity areas fill up the peak tower. It also has glasses view points. Overall nice experience here.

Took the tram to get here. Need additional ticket to enter the top deck. Our ticket also included free entry to meilok- which was like an old school Hong Kong set up that you can take photos. There were many shops and some eateries - but not extensive. There happened to be a miniature exhibition that was free and rather interesting.
