The place is stunning! You can easily spend there the whole day simply enjoying the nature. And that’s what it was mean for. There’re benches to rest, there’re water refilling free stations, and there’re stunning views! Also, you may be lucky to observe monkeys, as they live they’re and have a trail thought the park. Grab your water bottle, and come spend at least a few hours just wandering around. Foreigner adult ticket is MYR 60 and it surely worth it!

Absolutely loved the new birdwatching walk. Despite the early morning start it was a wonderful experience. During the 3+ hour walk we saw 29 different species of birds including the beautiful Asian Fairy-bluebird. It was a small group with both experienced birders and complete beginners and we all enjoyed the trip. The guides were brilliant- identifying the birds and helping us all to spot them.

A lovely nature reserve nestled in the Foothills of Penang. There is a funicular that takes you up to the top. The ride is expensive and not part of the Habitat ticket but there is no other option The Habitat itself is amazing with a nice 45min to 1hr walk through the forests with a lot of biodiversity There is a Tree Top skybridge in the middle of the walk which offers amazing 360 degree views of the Island. Also showcases the past British era history on how the place was used as a observation point for incoming ships. There are drinking water outlets every few meters which is an amazing thought We could not get a chance to see a few other attractions within the habitat but there are many more things to do. There is also a free buggy to take you back from the end of the trail to the funicular station Definitely recommended

? A beautiful escape into nature! Visited The Habitat today and absolutely loved it. The whole place feels like a peaceful retreat — surrounded by lush rainforest, fresh air, and scenic views. The canopy walk was a highlight, offering stunning panoramic views and a real sense of tranquility above the treetops. The trails were well-maintained, with plenty of signages and shaded spots to rest. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated how clean and eco-conscious everything felt. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to reconnect with nature, go for a mindful walk, or just enjoy some quiet away from the city. Highly recommend bringing comfy shoes, a camera, and taking your time to really soak it all in. Perfect for couples, solo explorers, or families.
