Visiting the Jet d’Eau in Geneva during December, especially near Christmas, was a serene and memorable experience. Despite the chilly weather, the sight of the iconic fountain rising gracefully into the crisp winter air was breathtaking. The festive season added a special charm, with the city adorned in holiday lights and decorations that reflected beautifully on the tranquil waters of Lake Geneva. Strolling along the promenade with my wife, wrapped in warm coats, we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and the occasional mist from the fountain. The surrounding area, with its cozy cafes and holiday markets, made for a perfect winter outing. The Jet d’Eau is a must-visit year-round, but its beauty feels particularly enchanting during the Christmas season.

A very nice spot in Geneva, I would highly recommend visiting it. It's a beautiful attraction with views of the mountains in the background, the lake next to it with its variety of birds, and the rainbow formed by the water jet.

The Jet is really quite mesmerising. It was a beautiful day and the whiteness of the Jet cut through the blue sky. Was such an enjoyable view from all aspects of the lake and when we got up close, it was a refreshing treat. Just keep in mind a slight shift in the wind and you may find yourself a little soggy. But, it's fun all the same.
