AMAZING BEACHES. Easy access from Pattaya, 150 Bhat speed boat 20mins from Pattaya. Easy to rent scooter 200 Bhat per day. Close and easy to get to from Bangkok. Loads of accommodation, bars restaurants, activities. Definitely worth the visit.
I prefer you to visit to Ko LAN island which you can do one day trip from Pattaya. The water of colour is amazing and not too much people on the beach. Public transportation boat cost is only 300 bahts but you have to go back at 3 pm to Pattaya. For me, we took the private speedboats for 4500 bahts for 10 people of groups and they bring two area of beach and also can go back to Pattaya around 5 pm. Food are not expensive also
The ferry fare to the island is about 30 baht and takes 30-45 minutes. There are motorbikes for rent or you can take a bus. The price depends on the distance. The water is clear and the waves are a bit strong. Jet skiing is fun.
Emphasizing Beauty and Activities Koh Larn is an absolute gem! Seriously, it's even more beautiful in person than in pictures. The water is incredibly clear and the sandy beaches are pristine, with fantastic options like Tawaen Beach and Samae Beach. There are so many water activities to enjoy, from jet skiing and parasailing to just simply swimming in the inviting turquoise sea. What I loved most was renting a scooter and exploring the island at my own pace. It was such a freeing experience to discover hidden viewpoints and charming local spots. The fresh seafood at the beachfront restaurants was a highlight – you absolutely have to try the grilled squid and prawns! Prices were very reasonable too. It's easily accessible from Pattaya by ferry, making it perfect for a day trip or even an overnight stay if you want to soak in the peaceful evenings. Whether you're looking for relaxation or a bit of adventure, Koh Larn delivers on all fronts. Highly, highly recommend visiting this island paradise! You won't be disappointed." Option 2: Focusing on Relaxation and Convenience "Koh Larn offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya. The ferry ride is quick and easy, transporting you to a much more tranquil and serene atmosphere. The beaches are truly stunning, with soft white sand and calm, clear waters that are ideal for swimming and unwinding. We spent hours just relaxing by the sea, enjoying the sunshine. Getting around the island is very convenient; we opted for a motorbike rental, which made exploring the various beaches and viewpoints a breeze. There are plenty of charming local shops and fantastic seafood restaurants where you can enjoy delicious, freshly caught meals right by the ocean. The prices were surprisingly good for such a popular destination. It’s an excellent spot for a rejuvenating day trip or a peaceful overnight stay. The sunsets from Koh Larn are also breathtaking and shouldn't be missed. If you're seeking a beautiful, accessible, and relaxing island experience near Pattaya, Koh Larn is definitely the place to go! I can't wait to visit again.
