Zhongshan Rd (E-1), Waitan, Huangpu, Shanghai, China, 200002
The buildings along the Bund and across on the island where all the skyscrapers are light up at 6:00 p.m. giving them spectacular light show that lasts for hours. Not to miss! Although Nanjing pedestrian road is also beautiful, you might want to take an alternate route to the bund because the crowds there in the evening can be too tight for comfort. The Bund itself is fine, not that crowded.
A beautiful place to visit while in Shanghai. A mix of old and new. One side you will see the Roman architecture from colonial era and on the other side of the river you will see majestic skyscrapers. After dark, you have to see the magic of colours on these buildings.
A must see and must go if you are in Shanghai or it would be the same as not visiting at all. Come especially at nights for the city skyline and the breathtaking illuminated historical buildings like the Sassoon building or 中国银行建筑, with very deep and rich history.
To get the best shots at night, a transparent umbrella is a must-have for unique photos if it rain. Take your time to explore and find less crowded spots with great views.
Walking along the river with the old European buildings on one side and the futuristic skyline on the other feels surreal. It’s the kind of view that makes you stop for a moment. The lights at night are especially stunning, and the whole area has a great atmosphere for a casual stroll.
