Ujung Water Palace, Tumbu, Karangasem, Karangasem Regency, Bali 80811, Indonesia
The most beautiful park I've ever seen in Bali; every nook is meticulously laid out. Its beauty is undoubtedly accompanied with a story. Unfortunately, during my visit, I did not find a tour guide who could explain the history of this place. A few areas are under repair then. I'll probably come back here another time.
A visit to this stunning water palace is nothing short of magical. Surrounded by lush green gardens, with the serene beach on one side and majestic mountains on the other, it’s a true feast for the eyes and soul. The natural beauty here feels like a perfectly painted landscape brought to life. Evenings are especially enchanting—when the golden sunset bathes the entire area in warm light, creating a tranquil and dreamy atmosphere. It’s the ideal time to visit, whether you’re capturing photos, enjoying a peaceful walk, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views. At the heart of the palace complex lies a beautifully designed museum, an architectural marvel that reflects both historical richness and artistic elegance. The detailing, the layout, and the surrounding water features make it a place you’ll want to admire up close. This palace is vast, offering ample space to explore at your own pace. It’s perfect for a relaxing stroll, with plenty of peaceful corners to sit and reflect. Whether you're a history lover, a nature enthusiast, or just someone looking to unwind in a spectacular setting, this spot has something truly special to offer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area—it's a serene retreat that combines nature, culture, and beauty in one unforgettable experience.
A good scenic place to visit at Northern Bali. The ticket is quite cheap, compared to the cleanliness and tidiness of the place. I can say that it's maintained and nurtured well. Lots of places to take a photo or even just sitting at the grass chatting with friends
Really beautiful place. Royal water palace in Karangasem. Best to visit is early in the morning. We were there alone at 8:30am, best time to make beautiful pictures. Sky was so clear so we could see Lombok and Nusa Penida. Entrance is 100k and it’s definitely worth it.
nice walking spot on the way to a more impressive attraction. There isn’t too much to see here, but that’s also part of the charm — it’s quiet, with very few people around, making it a good stop to take a break. The area is well-maintained and could be great for snapping a few Instagram-worthy shots. Just don’t plan this as your main destination in the area, or you might end up feeling a bit disappointed.
