Bennelong Point, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
had a really great time here, enjoyed the ferry ride with spectacular opera house as a view. it is more scenic and beautiful to capture from ferry. ferry ride doesn't feel short at all. came at the right time, perfect weather and nice and calm moment to relax ?
Other people have said more effectively the things you must know about this place, as well as what it is like during various times of the year. It’s beautiful and the hype is real. Doing the basic tour offered gives you more than the surface level that is gained by only taking a few pictures and then leaving— do yourself a huge favor and go on the tour! It is simply surreal to see in-person.
The Sydney Opera House is already one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, but during Vivid Sydney, it becomes a living masterpiece. The light projections dancing across its sails are nothing short of breathtaking an artistic fusion of colour, culture, and creativity. We stood in awe as the Opera House lit up the night sky, perfectly synchronized with music and storytelling through light. It was an unforgettable experience that truly showcased the artistic soul of Sydney. The energy around Circular Quay was electric, with people from all walks of life coming together to witness this stunning visual show. If you’re in Sydney during Vivid, seeing the Opera House at night is an absolute must. Five stars aren’t enough!
You can spent many days with this buildings. Every time of the day the view is different, and you can view it from many places, far or near. We joined the house tour and Lyn our guide is just marvellous. She explained the history of this building in such a fun way. Although schedule for 1 hour, it took us longer than that to complete. Needless to say this is the best building we have ever visited. We were there during Vivid Sydney 2025 and the night show is just stunning.
An icon to Sydney and one of those must see places for the beautiful architecture and the significance it has. Beautiful building and amazing area around. Recommend to book a tour to learn more about how it came to be and why it was seen is an important part to improving Sydney's economy. Seeing a show here would also be a nice time. Absolutely recommend!
