Magical Place. I saw this place and immediately got connected. I was looking for the Notre Dame Paris and the Abbey Bookshop, and by chance found this little park. I was so impressed by the churches around, the way this place is preserved and how great this tree looks. I even took a couple of leaves laying on the floor just to have it as a token. The place is really quiet even though it is around a very concurred area. Take at least 30 minutes to enjoy this place.

We traveled to Paris for the Christmas holiday. The Christmas market at Square René Viviani was lovely, very quaint and charming. We had the opportunity to browse the unique vendors and festive atmosphere together. The vendors had some beautiful handmade crafts and decorations. We enjoyed tasting specialty foods and even bought a few souvenirs. Being surrounded by the beautiful Sainte-Chapelle in the background made our visit extra special. It was a truly special experience, one we'll always treasure.

Charming park with a (eventually) great view of Notre Dame. Having visited quite a few parks during my visit to Paris, I was surprised by the calmness of this one: especially, given its proximity to Notre Dame. Great spot to relax and plan your next move around the city. There was additional, well-shaded bench seating beyond the main circle. Clean and well-maintained.

The Square René Viviani is a delightful park to sit and rest. The park has several trees for shade as well as the oldest tree in Paris, originally from Louisiana. The view and sound from Notre Dame Cathedral are very nice as are the sculptures and flowers gardens. Lots of seating is available.
