Jalan Ekoflora Utama, Taman Eko Flora, Johor
As you step into Eco Spring Labs, it feels like you have been teleported out of Malaysia and into a charming European town, Costa Nova of Portugal. At times, Eco Spring Labs also feels to me like the Springfield city of The Simpsons. Besides the colourful shopfronts, there are many photo spots around the area such as rainbow benches and a steam engine train. The two notable cafés to visit in this area are Morihana Pastry (森花手工烘焙) and Soil Café. I visited both of them during lunchtime on a weekday which was not crowded. Other than dining and photo taking, there is nothing much to do here. Tips: From Johor Bahru Immigration & Customs, it is a 30mins car ride to this place. Therefore, I recommend making a trip here together with your visit to Mount Austin. The ride is just 10mins away, whereby a ride-hailing service costs about RM6 during the off-peak period. Plan your visit from 12 noon as some of the eateries are open for business from lunch onwards.
t's a fairly peaceful spot that many girls seem to enjoy, likely because it's perfect for taking photos. However, aside from that, there isn’t much else to do except visit nearby cafes or take a stroll around the area. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at night, though, as it can feel a bit too quiet for my taste.
Peaceful place that has very vibrant colours. It’s like a mini village on its own, filled woth cafes and some activities. However it is v warm to go in the hot afternoon, and most places are open only after 1pm. Shd be v nice at night when all the push carts are open!
It’s a nice place to go with families. Mostly dining restaurants. Unfortunately we didn’t get to walk around that much cause it was raining heavily after we had our lunch.
