My husband and I joined the crew at Spirit of Gold Coast Whale Watching as a birthday gift from my son on Saturday 14/09/2024, unfortunately the weather made the sea conditions unsuitable and we had to return to dock. We had our cruise rescheduled free of charge for Saturday 21/09/2024, we had such an amazing experience Watching the Wales at play. The crew members were fantastic! Especially the gentleman inside/at the bar, he made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable for us. We will definitely be returning for more Wale Watching experiences with this crew!

We were here for a conference but enjoyed the whale tour, jet skis and beach, much more than the corporate niceties. Whales are like icebergs and when we see them we only see a wee bit of their mass but it never ceases to excite our mammalian brotherly feelings. Having seen Hong Kong's Gold Coast, this beach that stretches for miles was an eye opener for the better half.

Amazing experience! From the time of booking to departure the cruise was flawless. Crew were friendly, helpful and informative. Especially Ben who went the extra mile for a slightly sea sick family member. It was a wonderful way to see the whales up-close and to see the Gold Coast coast and skyline. Would recommend as a great adventure!

It was a great experience. It's a large and comfortable vessel that provides protection from the elements and an upper deck to get an even better view of the whales. It's early in the season, but we were lucky enough to see a whale breach several times. The crew are very knowledgeable and provide an excellent commentary. I took a motion sickness tablet as precaution (it's highly recommended that you do so), but luckily the sea was flat on the day I went out, which makes it a much more pleasant experience. If you arrive early, you may find free car parking on the street within walking distance.
