432 Cheongpa-ro, Jung District, Seoul, South Korea
It’s a surprise discovery that you can actually walk from Seoul station all the way to one of the most famous shopping districts with ease (I think it’s south gate market.) It’s an abandoned road turned into a walkway park, a bit like the one in New York. The scenery was awesome! Great view from the skywalk, with Seoul station and the old South Gate in sight. There’s little shop here and there, and connect to lots of surrounding buildings and market. Lots of “ramp” for better accessibility. Very convenient. Do pay here a visit during night time, for the lighting and the night skyline of Seoul is awesome!
I came here 6 years ago, and now I'm back, but the scenery is still the same. I enjoyed my walk around this bridge, watching the people and traffic moving below. It's interesting. I think this place is great to visit at night to enjoy the view of a bustling city like Seoul. It also offers a good view of Seoul Station from here.
Great place to walk around enjoying the nice skylines, plants, cafe, flowers, and peaceful atmosphere. Try it!
If you’re looking for a chill spot in the middle of Seoul, Seoullo 7017 is a great place to check out. It’s basically an old overpass turned into a sky garden, and it’s packed with all kinds of plants, trees, and flowers—it almost feels like a mini botanical garden in the city. There are plenty of spots to just sit and relax, which is perfect if you need a break from walking around. I also loved the public piano—sometimes you’ll catch someone playing, and it adds a really nice vibe. There’s a cute little café too, so you can grab a drink and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, you get a pretty awesome one of the city, and you can even see N Seoul Tower from up there. It’s all very clean and well-maintained, which makes the experience even better. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to walk, chill, or people-watch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Peaceful walk with great city views and a relaxed vibe Seoullo is a beautifully repurposed overpass that runs from Seoul Station to Hoehyeon Subway Station. It’s a short, peaceful walk (less than 20 minutes end to end) but you’ll likely spend more time there soaking in the views, taking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere. I ended up staying close to an hour without even realizing it! There’s a public piano in the middle that anyone can play, which adds a nice artistic and spontaneous feel to the area. Along the way, there are plenty of cafes nearby, some with terraces that offer even better views of the city, a great spot to relax for a bit. While it’s not a “must-see” landmark, it’s a lovely addition to your itinerary if you have some free time, want to take a break from the busy city, or are looking to snap a few scenic photos.
