Old Ballidu Rd, Kondut WA 6605, Australia
Beautiful place a must to see at Wongan Hills during the wildflower festival! Love it!
A lovely place top view a great variety of Western Australian wildflowering trees and bushes - not so much for traditional ground flowering wildflowers. Went in Nov / Dec and it was beautiful. Visited recently early Sept and was disappointed, nothing flowing and Sept way too early. The track says you can drive through but its not recommended, this a very tight, sandy in places one way with next to no pull off areas. Its a 2km walk at best, take a hat, some water, try and get there before midday and enjoy the walk. Lots and lots of birds also!!
We did not stay long as we were only doing a recce. It was also a hit day and we just hiked up Mt. Matilda so was a bit tired but will definitely visit early morning in the week. Very colourful
Nice easy walk. Info boards along the way. Sheltered/shaded bench, with history info, about halfway, for a rest or sit and admire the surrounds and listen to the birds. Dogs on lead permitted. No amenities.
