The Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum in New Delhi is a fascinating attraction that showcases the rich history, heritage, and legacy of India’s presidents and the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan itself. LOCATION: It is located within the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan and entry for museum at Gate no. 30 at mother Teresa marg.. (google were showing one route from Rashtrapati bhawan to Rashtrapati bhawan museum but that road is not available for anyone.. NOTE: It's open from Tuesday to Sunday.. Closed : Monday & gazetted holidays.. ABOUT MUSEUM: The museum is divided into three sections: The Clock Tower, The Stables, and The Garages, collectively known as the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex (RBMC). Visitors can witness digital displays of Mahatma Gandhi’s interactions with past Presidents, rare photographs, and original documents that shaped India's modern history. Another major attraction is the 'Virtual Reality Room', where visitors can experience a 3D walkthrough of the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan. The museum also features historic vehicles.

I recently had the privilege of visiting Rashtrapati Bhavan on a Saturday, and I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The "Change of Guard" ceremony was truly captivating, showcasing the precision, discipline, and grandeur of the Indian Army. The entire estate itself is breathtaking, with its lush green lawns, well-maintained gardens, and imposing architecture. The ambience is peaceful and serene, making it an ideal escape from the bustling city. Highlights: * The "Change of Guard" Ceremony: A must-see for anyone interested in military traditions and pageantry. * The Beautiful Architecture: The blend of Mughal and British architectural styles is truly remarkable. * The Serene Gardens: Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of the estate. Overall: My visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan was a memorable one. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or simply looking for a relaxing day out, Rashtrapati Bhavan has something to offer everyone. Additional Tips: * It's advisable to book your tickets in advance, especially during peak season. * Wear comfortable footwear as you'll be doing a fair amount of walking. * Don't forget to carry your ID proof as it's mandatory for entry. I hope this review helps you plan your visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan.

A Journey That Stirred My Soul – Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Walking through the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum wasn’t just a visit—it was an awakening. As I stepped inside, I wasn’t entering a building. I was stepping into history, pride, sacrifice, and the heartbeat of our nation. Every room, every artifact, every photograph echoed the journey of India—from the days of struggle to the spirit of freedom, from colonial corridors to the dreams of a vibrant democracy. Seeing the personal belongings of past Presidents, their handwritten notes, and the presidential gifts from across the world reminded me that leadership is not about power—it’s about humility, wisdom, and service. The digital presentations, the 3D holograms, and the storytelling corners made history come alive. It felt like India’s soul was speaking—whispering stories of courage, resilience, and hope. What touched me most was the silent dignity in the air—the kind that doesn’t shout patriotism but invites you to feel it. I walked out with tears in my eyes and pride in my heart, more connected to the idea of India than ever before. If you wish to understand what India stands for—beyond books, beyond politics—go there once. Take your children. Let them see how greatness is built not in a moment but over generations. This place doesn't just inform—it transforms.

A perfect gateway to immerse yourself into the glorious history of the presidential journey as well as some memorable parts of the Indian Freedom movement. They have guided tours as well, which you can get details from the website while booking. They have few AVs as well, where you can see and listen to some historical songs and speeches. The ticket is for INR 50 and you need to book online, and don't forget to visit Mitti cafe which is in the vicinity of the building. Overall, loved it. Well worth.
