I wasn't ready for this! I got goosebumps right from the start and left in tears. It was free! Well, donations only, which I recommend and are very much needed and appreciated. I found out new info from the documentary which rolls in the cinema room. It's small but full of feels.
This exhibition is for free and located inside the casino building and is within walking distance from Montreux train station. Although it’s small, it features plenty of Queen memorabilia, stage costumes, handwritten notes, and a recording studio. Even if you’re not a fan, it’s worth a visit!
Pretty cool museum of the music group Queen. It is located inside the Montreux Casino. It’s somewhat small but full of Queens music, Freddie Mercurys outfits and recording studio exhibits. There is a short movie as well. Really interesting museum and on the outside of the building is the entrance to the old recording studio you can visit where you can write on the wall. Best part is that the museum is free.
For any Queen fan this is a must see in Montreux and even better it’s free, although would be a good idea to donate if you enjoy to make sure it stays as accessible in the future. Lots of great information, photos, wardrobe pieces, original notes and lyrics. Close to the Freddie Mercury statue as well, absolutely iconic. Seeing all the love and messages from around the world as you enter was the cherry on top.
So interesting and detailed. Music constantly playing. Studio experience to play about with the sounds was extremely intriguing..
