Excellent private museum with many precious antiques, some better than the National museum such as the real bed of King Rama III, there is an exact replica of the Red Pakace built by King Rama I that was located at the national museum. There are antiàqye of Chinese, Burmese, Khmer, of course Thai. It is too numerous to mention. You expect to stay 2 to 4 hours to visit. You have to call and make reservations in advance as it is open by appointments only and there are only 2 slots each day, morning or afternoon. You will be guided by expert docent, KHUN PRECHA who can speak English fairly well. It cost minimal of 1000 bahts and 500 bahts per each person.
Once in a lifetime experience for antiques lovers. Probably the best collection seen all across South East Asia. The most impressive part of the collection can't be photographed so you can only see it there. The entrance price is definitely not expensive for the wonders you'll be able to see and the private extremely knowledgeable and passionate guide!
We had an amazing visit at this museum. Our guide Peter was very enthusiastic, funny and friendly and knows everything about the art. The collection is very impressive and worth a visit for any history and/or art lovers.
Wonderful experience. As others suggested, Peter is an awesome tour guide. Thank you. Also, understand that it is necessary to make reservations via telephone beforehand.
Incredible collection set in beautiful gardens. Peter is a very knowledgeable guide.
