Operator for ferry and tour to penguin island. The staff was friendly and would help you sorting your tour to penguin island. They provide tours so you can learn about the penguins here. There also friendly volunteers who would tell you about the island. To be honest, penguins will go out early in the morning and only be back at late evening, and when the hatching season, the island would be closed for visiting. However the island is great, with really-really beautiful water plus the beach on the east side of the island is calm, so you can have a picnic, swim and enjoy beach moment here. There would be a lot of small lizard around but they are friendly.

Snorkelled with the sea lions today. Amazing experience. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and social, and took every step necessary to ensure both our safety and the safety of the animals. Massive thanks to the team Skipper Grace, Neve, Crete and Tiana. The ladies made it a very memorable experience for my partner and I celebrating our 5 year anniversary.

Outstanding experience. We did the 3 Island Snorkel tour and spent around 2 hours in the water and another 2 following Indian ocean bottlenose dolphins and enjoying lunch observing the birds on Penguin Island. Sea lions were enjoying the sun today and we observed from the deck. In the water, we saw nudibranches, octopus, sea stars, heaps of fish, and the spectacular reef structure around the islands. The Shoalwater marine park is a must-see. The tour was an amazing way to experience it, particularly for beginning snorkelers and those who are not bringing gear and a boat. But even for experienced snorkelers, the tour guides made it very worthwhile by sharing their knowledge of the animals and park. There is deep respect for the animals here. A proper eco-tourism experience. A real highlight of the tour is the free return ferry to Penguin Island. The West side has a beautiful reef and the island is crawling with Pelicans as big as the sea lions. This part isn't guided and is free-roam. For an enhanced experience, bring binoculars to observe the islands while in transit between snorkels.

Penguin Island & Dolphin, Sea Lion & Penguin Island Cruise – A Stunning Nature Experience Penguin Island is a breathtaking destination just off the coast of Rockingham, perfect for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The short ferry ride over offers gorgeous views, and the island itself features crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and scenic walking trails. Seeing little penguins in the wild is rare, but the 30-minute guided tour was a great way to explore the island’s beauty and learn about its wildlife. Two special highlights were spotting a dolphin and also seeing the sea lion play with his food during the tour—both magical moments! The island is also home to a variety of seabirds, making it a great spot for birdwatching. We also took part in the Dolphin, Sea Lion & Penguin Island Cruise, which was a fantastic experience. While we didn’t see dolphins during the cruise itself, the sight of sea lions lounging on the sandbanks was incredible. The crew was knowledgeable and made the experience both informative and engaging. The cruise provided beautiful views of the marine park and made for a relaxing way to enjoy the area. Overall, Penguin Island combined with the cruise makes for a fantastic day trip. Just be sure to bring your own food and water, as facilities on the island are limited. A wonderful nature experience with stunning scenery, wildlife encounters, and a well-run guided tour and cruise!
