I think this market is more interesting and lively than Central Market. More stuff can be bought here and many locals. The sight and smell are definitely stronger here. There are also many delicious food stalls along the road around the market. I had this pork innards mix 12k, amazing flavor and came with a tasty sauce. Came on a Sunday afternoon.

Very big local market. Outside stalls have fruit & vegetables at decent prices. Inside everything from fabric, electronics, hardware, food. Looks like wholesale items. Tip: go early in the morning as it gets crowded.

Orussey market has expanded and modernized so much that I cannot recognize it. When I was a bit, I remember the market was small and not as beautiful and organized as it is today. It's very hot the day I was there in November 2024, imagine the heat in April summer month. So I'm told the best time to go to the market is in the morning or late afternoon after 3 pm. Silly me when shopping around 11 am. ?

The lesser known wet market in Phnom Phen. Only locals come here, which makes this market more interesting than the central market. However it is also mainly a food and ingredients market. If you want a better look into the daily life in Phnom Phen, then you should definitely check it out.

That place was massive all kinds of food items but mostly clothing all sizes shoes as well while they'll sell you one of something they are really wholesale to other market vendors. If you like markets and you're in Phnom Penh it's worth a visit
