Nambung WA 6521, Australia
We did the sunset tour with picnic style dinner and star gazing. Unfortunately there was a bit of cloud cover so the star gazing wasn’t possible. But I do recommend you visit here. Amazing trip to an amazing place
This is an amazing landscape in Australia to see. Lots of travel companies are running trips here daily from Perth hotels. We went out with Lumineer Adventure Tours on their Star gazing Tour where they bought Telescopes and Night time Binoculars and it was an amazing evening. Well worth the trip out to see this incredible mysterious landscape feature.
Well worth a visit, 200 km north of Perth so do consider an organised tour, especially if you wish to experience the sunset, which can be sensational.
A must visit if you are staying in Perth. An easy day trip up the Indian Ocean highway. Beautiful setting in the desert with a 1.5km circular route to see the amazing pinnacles. Highly recommend.
We loved visiting the Nambung national park and staying for sunset and then watching the milky way come to life. Learning about the significance of the land to the Aboriginal cultural and spiritual importance for the Yued people. The area is considered a sacred place, and the Pinnacles themselves are seen as part of the Yued people's cultural heritage. The name "Nambung" is also derived from an Aboriginal word, meaning "crooked" or "land of crooked river," referring to the Nambung River and its winding path through the region.
