Rue de Lausanne 128, 1202 Genève, Switzerland
Don't hesitate to visit this place if you have an hour or two available. Located next to the lake and botanic garden, this venue might be a great place to engage kids of all ages. I am delighted.
Came here while on school trip from UK to see CERN and only cern topped it but considering it's free I have to say it is one of the best science museums I've ever seen and the best in terms of interactive exhibits brilliant for kids but I would say mainly above a certain age for som of the activities
Gorgeous building located right on the lake. Free entry and they made this very clear so not feeling of forced to give a donation as at other museums. An app with audio guide would be great. Nice to relax and walk around at your own pace. Cane on a Sunday and hardly anyone here.
It is free to visit, so consider it as an option if you stay for longer time in Geneva. Cosmo, electricity, animal, physics... all kinds of science. Very interactive for kids, so they won't get bored. Nice view to Lac Leman, friendly staffs.
Beautiful building inside with gorgeous painted ceilings & many rooms of exhibits. There's some hands-on things to look through & and use, which were fun. 45-60 minutes is plenty of time to explore.
