The Sky Capsule ride is a unique and fun experience that offers great views of the coastline. Riding along the tracks with the ocean right beside you offers plenty of great photo opportunities. It is also a great way to see the coastline without having to walk all the way in a hot and humid temperature. The capsules are cozy and perfect for couples or small groups of 4. The ride itself is smooth and relaxing, allowing you to fully take in the stunning scenery. It’s a great way to explore the area from a different perspective. The only downside is that the ride is quite popular and there's a wait time, so I recommend booking your tickets in advance to avoid long waits. But overall, it’s an experience that is unique, and I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Busan—both for the beautiful views and the unique mode of transportation!
I took the train at Blue Line Square for 7,000 won (one way), and it offered a beautiful view of the ocean along the way. However, I also did the walkway that follows the railway on a different day, and I found it to be a better experience. The walk takes about an hour, allowing you to go at your own pace and enjoy the incredible skywalks. If you’re considering the capsule option, it’s 35,000 won, but it’s for a minimum of two people, so solo travelers will need to pay for two regardless. While the train ride was nice and I didn’t do the capsule, I highly recommend walking the path.
It's a nice ride to see the sea... booking can be an issue. Either buy in advance from Klook or trip.com or else, you need to buy the ticket at the counter early morning.. It usually runs out very fast.. the website booking is very local centric, and some foreign cards are not supported. Recommend to go early by 9am to get ur tickets for ur selected time. It's a 30mins ride one way..
Nice experience although booking was a bit tricky (as a foreigner, I couldn't purchase the tickets on the Korean website & trip.com didn't offer tickets for the next day). We ended up buying them on-site. I recommend taking the capsule one way (40k for two people) because the two stations are 2.5km apart - it's a nice walk. We walked from Mipo to Cheongsapo and took the capsule back. Tip: We were offered the tickets from Mipo (4pm) and Cheongsapo (2pm), so check your options.
Currently their website unable to accept foreign cards so either ask friends or families in Korea to book on behalf. In my opinion I have booked the package sky capsule 1 way then the beach train to see the scenic places (you can get off every stops but ensure board back on the very same stop). Overall good experience.
