A major tourist spot where you can find a very large statue of aleeping Buddha. There will not be many tourists, but it's too hot on day time. Parking is available inside the temple and has a very good ambience around the place.

Every Buddhist Temple has a history of it's own and is often rich in the architecture as seen in the construction of the temple. There is a huge sleeping Buddha which was constructed in the temple grounds. Peaceful and serene surroundings even to the beings in the animal kingdom. Entrance / parking is free as in most temples and maintenance of the temples may come from your contributions regardless of currency. If you wish to go the extra mile, try offering Dana (robes, requisites, cooked food etc).

It's become a tradition for us, a way of seeking blessings for a safe and successful journey. We always feel a sense of peace and serenity within the temple's walls. The monks are incredibly friendly, and the temple has a special donation program where you can contribute old clothes and snacks for the monks. They even bless you with a golden marker, writing Sanskrit blessings on your helmet or other belongings. We're grateful for the temple's protective presence over our many trips in and out of Thailand. We always feel blessed and safe when we visit, and it's become a cherished part of our road trip rituals. Wat Ha Ya Nai is a small but remarkable temple, mainly known for its giant reclining Buddha statue. The sheer size of the statue is impressive and makes for great photo opportunities. The temple grounds are peaceful, and the visit was quick—less than 15 minutes was enough for taking pictures and offering prayers. It’s a nice stop if you’re in the area, especially if you appreciate Buddhist architecture and cultural sites. While not a large temple complex, its highlight is definitely worth a short visit.
