Lim Jetty

Lim jetty is peaceful and picturesque. Smaller than nearby Chew jetty, Lim jetty is more residential than commercial. You can see actual homes rather than shops. Very authentic. I was able to find a quiet spot near the water to sit under the shade and read my book . There is a small fish shop run by a local fishnerman. Many of the houses have temples/places of worship. Nice boardwalk. Remember you are walking by people's houses ?❤️? It's worth a visit

Compared with Chew Jetty, the Lim Jetty, Tan Jetty and Lee Jetty are smaller in establishment, and thus less visited jetty along the same coastline. However, without the huge number of tourists and the souvenir shops (aka tourist trips LOL), these 3 other jetty show the original living habitats of the local. You will also be able to see that the families on Lee Jetty are wealthier than all the other jetty, with better housing and better walkway (i.e. the bridge). Definitely worth visiting.

This place is less crowed and less touristic oriented as it does not propose overpriced items (food and drinks). We can simply walk around peacefully without shops every meter. It will take 10 minutes to walk around and take picture of this place where people are still living inside. Most of the houses are closed probably due to privacy. Inhabitant seems not ennoyed by all the tourist walking around.

Not as commercialised or busy as the other jetty’s when we did our Jetty tour. Nice little seating area with a pastel coloured bench. Usual nice view of the bridge from Georgetown to Penang.
