Great hike on the south lantau country trail. We took the route from Pak Kung Au to Ngong Ping village (Tian Tan Buddha), via Lantau Peak. The hike was definitely very intense, with a pretty steep incline and a lot of steps throughout the way. But the breathtaking views made it worth it. Great views of the lantau countryside all around and great trail overall.

Another side of Po Lin Monastery which is able to hike up to the hill. There are few sticks of woods with the words of heart sutra "心经”

Hiking on Lantau is just amazing. Great hikes, challenges, and lots of local and colonial history.
