We had an amazing experience at Krabi Elephant Shelter. The entire visit felt very personalized, with the staff ensuring that every single one of us had a memorable time. One of the standout features was the inclusion of a photo package, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without worrying about capturing the moments ourselves. What made this experience truly exceptional was the ethical approach taken by the shelter. The elephants appeared happy, calm, and well-cared for. Each elephant had its own dedicated mahout. It was beautiful to see the strong bond between the elephants and their caretakers. And it also makes you feel safe, as the mahoot understands the elephants emotions and will guide you on how and when to interact with the elephant. Additionally, we were offered complimentary drinks, fresh fruit, and snacks. The setting of the sanctuary was beautiful with lush palm trees and a blue lagoon to bathe with the elephants. To top it all off, they even provided hotel pick-up in a clean and comfortable vehicle, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. This was a day I’ll never forget, and I can’t recommend Krabi Elephant Shelter enough to anyone looking for an ethical and unforgettable elephant interaction!

Bathing with elephants in Thailand was one of the most magical and heartwarming things I’ve ever done. Being up close with these gentle giants, feeding them, and then helping to bathe them in the river was beyond amazing. You can feel their calm energy and intelligence—it’s truly humbling. We booked a 300-baht elephant experience that turned out surprisingly brief but uniquely memorable. The staff provided baskets of food for elephants , guiding us to feed these gentle giants. The elephants’ damp, velvety trunks tickled our palms as they skillfully grabbed treats, sparking both laughter and awe. Our guide kindly took multiple photos of us standing beside the elephants. While the 30-minute session included feeding interaction and photos, we wished it extended longer
