A very old and beautiful park located in the heart of Tokyo. I visited last November on a Sunday, and the park was pleasantly quiet, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There are plenty of signs and explanations, which really help to appreciate the significance and beauty of the place. The entrance fee is very affordable, but do be aware that the restaurant inside is quite expensive for what it offers.

A nice place to spend a few hours relaxing with nature. Not a lot of flowers yet but the view is already mesmerizing. I would love to come back once spring is in full swing. I went on a Monday afternoon so the place was not crowded and I got to enjoy some peace and quiet.

I came here around the garden just opened and it was almost empty. But just 20 minutes or less it was packed. There were couple of Sakura trees that were blooming. But not fully. Some were like half flowers half leaves. But the garden was beautiful. I did come here two years ago for autumn. It was awesome. There were some shady areas that made you feel like climbing hills on both sides.

This was a beautiful, peaceful garden to walk around. It is near Tokyo Dome, so if you are in the area, for a baseball game or anything, maybe arrive an hour early and explore the garden. If you are visiting in the spring, May 4th is Greenery Day, and parks have free admission.

This was my favourite place after exploring Tokyo for 6 days. It was so peaceful, I felt relaxed. The park was built hundreds of years ago and has some interesting history tied to it. There is a small set of stairs by the lake where you can sit beside the water beside the carps, I really enjoyed that.
