An amazing garden surrounded by breathtaking nature—far more beautiful than I expected! It’s the perfect place to read a book, catch up with friends, or simply relax and unwind. By the way, you can also get an amazing stamp there!

This garden is beautiful! It was the first place we visited on our first day in Japan, as we stayed really close to it. Adults have to pay ¥150 at the entrance and I'd recommend to visit it early when it opens. The place is perfectly maintained and also have an interesting stones collection. It's a great place to do some birdwatching too, as herons, egrets, ducks and small birds live here. We visited it 3 times because we really liked it!

It was a rainy day and yet rain didn’t harm its beauty. It did stand out among other gardens by its characteristics. It does have some stone collections from around Japan. Many with signs indicating where it came and what type was it. Also many interesting stepping stones by the pond. Some were actually a bit challenging for me. Its Sakura definitely not in season. Only one left. But it is close to the original store of blue bottle. Which would make it fun in one trip to visit both.

Beautiful, tranquil garden nestled between the modern buildings and busy streets. The park is lined by charming old single story buildings on the outside. The grounds are perfectly groomed and kept extremely clean. When anyone says 'Japanese garden' this exact park is what springs into your mind. If you stay in Ryogoku then this is a great spot for calm walks and takeout lunch.

We just loved this spot! Such a perfect Japanese garden with a ton of history and historical significance. The foliage was lovely and really took you out of the city! But our favorite part were all the lovely bridges and stone walkways over the water. Oh and did I mention it was only about $2/150 yen for the both of us!
