On my recent trip to Delhi, I visited the Indira Gandhi Museum on 3rd May 2025. We reached around 12 pm. It is the same place where she resided along with her family. The place has been well maintained and showcases her entire life and political journey. There is her dressing room, her prayer room, dining area, drawing room and her office. It also shows the place where Rajiv Gandhi along with Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka used to stay. The path where she was assassinated is not open for public to go through but we can see it from afar. There is no entry fee. One can easily spend an hour here getting all the information. If you are a history lover, then you should definitely visit it.

Lovely experience... they've marked the spot where Indira Gandhi was assassinated, Safdarjung road, and they've even kept her sadi from the day of her assassination. There is a section dedicated to Rajiv Gandhi, too, and they have also kept the remains of his clothes from when he was assassinated.

A place that touches your heart and takes you through the powerful journey of an extraordinary woman. The preserved rooms, personal belongings, and photographs make you feel her presence at every step. It’s not just a museum—it’s a silent tribute filled with emotion, courage, and history. Walking the path where she spent her last moments was truly moving. A beautifully maintained and respectful space that leaves a lasting impact. Proud to have experienced it.❤️
