Beautiful views, not only of Manhatten but also of the new buildings on Greenpoint side and on Williamsburg bridge. The park itself is nice for a 30 min walk with great sections of restored native plants. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, and a ferry trip to or from the park is fun.

If you can, go there now (April) as the blossoms are in full bloom and the park looks as pretty as ever. The views of the city are great and it was surprisingly quiet. A great spot to take picture of the manhattan skyline.

Hunter's Point South Park is an absolute gem! This waterfront oasis offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline that truly make you feel like you're in the heart of it all. The park is thoughtfully designed with something for everyone: fantastic playgrounds for kids, adult fitness equipment, a dedicated dog run, and even a basketball court. I especially loved the waterside promenade for leisurely strolls and the unique cantilevered platform that provides an even more stunning vantage point. The picnic terraces are perfect for enjoying a meal with that incredible backdrop. It's clear that this park was created with the community in mind, offering a clean, safe, and vibrant space for relaxation and recreation. It's easily accessible and a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Five stars all the way!

Hunter's Point Park is breathtakingly beautiful. A 49-minute East River Ferry Ride from Wall Street or DUMBO is a great way to get here with scenic views all the way. The fare is $4.50 one way or $2.90 if a 10-trip pack is purchased. Each ticket has one free transfer so that you can go on additional adventures. The waterfront park - previously an abandoned post-industrial area - includes an inviting central green, children’s play areas, a waterside promenade, and a café plaza decked with benches, tables, chairs, and recently planted tulips that smiled as much as the faces of the people braving the strong winds and dipping temperatures.
