Well, what can be said about The Great Wall that hasn't been said already. It's quite amazing to witness in person and you won't regret the trip. It is remarkable that this giant stone wall is still standing strong after so many years. Outstanding engineering for that time. There are plenty of opportunities to buy souvenirs and get something to eat/drink from one of the many shops. Pro tips: *Be reasonably fit because the climb is steep *Wear good gripping shoes *Take water *Take your time
It is called wonder of the world for a reason. The Great wall of China, in its entirety, is an amazing piece of man made structure that exists on earth. If you happen to be there on a day with good visibility you can see the how majestic and enormous it is.
The Badaling entrance is wheelchair accessible. People are invaluable, so there is no need to be in the queue. There are some narrow points, but you can stay in the viewpoint to see the Great Wall and beautiful views. The cable car was slowly moving, but you could quickly enter your wheelchair. Staff would help you. I did it without help. You can do it. As a wheelchair user, I appreciate Chinese people giving me support to see the Great Wall

A convenient getaway from Beijing with spectacular views. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and makes for an unforgettable experience. However, be prepared for long queues, especially if you plan to take the cable car. The site tends to get very crowded, which can affect the overall enjoyment. Arriving early in the day may help avoid some of the congestion.
