Gondola - Summit Station

Had a great time going up the summit via the gondola. Arrived around 10am and not much people in line. The view was amazing. It was a bit windy though so it was a bit difficult the stay long on the view deck. They have a very unique attraction where you ride a small car that shows you the history of the place. Overall, was a great experience.

Excellent views with supporting explanations on the external walkways. Some very interesting information boards inside. Excellent cafe with a wide range of food at reasonable prices. Well stocked gift shop. Allow 30 minutes to view, an hour and a half if you use the cafe and gift shop.

Only a 20min drive up from the central Christchurch (We didn't go on the gondola). A little walk from the bottom of the hill. If you go at the right time you can literally walk amongst the clouds. Very lovey surprise. Inside the station is a nice cafe. The balcony wraps around and offers nice vistas to the sea

A must go place in Christchurch. Really enjoyed the sunset and city view from the top. The ride from base station was not scary. Kids friendly ride. The cafe at the top is a must visit place. Highly recommend the vanilla latte. Overall a great experience.

This is a must do if you are in Christchurch. The views from the top of the Gondola station are insane and amazing. Very easy ride in the Gondola with all glass enclosure. They have a nice cafe up there which has LOTs of food options
