We've made it a point to visit the Golden Valley Tree Park across different seasons - we just haven't done a winter trip yet. By far, Autumn is the best time to see the park, though Spring is also lovely as you get a lush green landscape. This place is special - it feels like you're far away from home as it is very peaceful and beautiful. The only sounds you will generally hear is the bleating of sheep and rustling of trees. There are different sections of the park that hold various species of trees, and they colour at different times of the year. If you don't mind a bit of sheep poo, and staying on your feet, then this park is a real treat.
Awesome walk trails - there are 3 different trails. Loved the scenery, and there is a spot for picnics and is dog friendly.
Plenty to explore specifically from now on to coming days. We spent only about 1.5hrs & required more to explore the natural beauty. Found one family with professional photographer. Very well maintained with detailed information on plant ? species. Photography: Excellent ? Colourful view: Perfect ? **No entry fees** Volunteered donation option** Please visit website for details. Plentiful of parking ?️ & toilets ? Three different tracks.
This was our second visit here, but this time the season was just right for the amazing view and colours. A few different trails take you to different parts with different trees and colours.
Such a gorgeous spot! Words cannot describe how beautiful it is. There are a few different walks that are available depending on how long you want to be there for. Each walk is breathtaking. The autumn colours are gorgeous. Reds, yellows, oranges, green, the trees are just full of colour.
