Very nice experience and my kids love it so much. Lots of ghost which is separated by country and genre, included with some explanation. There are costumes to try on at every department. Photos provided by official photographer are nice and sharp. I do recommend for you guys to buy the photos from them. Cost me around RM50 for 3 printed photos plus softcopies.
The Ghost Museum Penang is a unique attraction that blends folklore, history, and eerie fun. It showcases a variety of ghostly figures from different cultures, including Malay, Chinese, and Western legends. The museum’s well-crafted displays and interactive settings make it an engaging experience, especially for those who enjoy taking themed photos. Unlike a haunted house, it’s not designed to be terrifying but rather educational and entertaining. The staff is friendly and offers insights into the myths behind the exhibits. While the museum is relatively small, it’s packed with creative and spooky setups that make for an enjoyable visit. Some areas could benefit from better lighting to enhance the atmosphere. The entrance fee might feel a bit steep for its size, but the experience is still worthwhile, especially for horror enthusiasts and families looking for a lighthearted, spooky adventure in Penang. If you love folklore and supernatural tales, this is a fun stop to consider.
Such a fun place. The people at the ticket counter are polite and helpful. Friendly! The best part is there is not time limit and you can take tons of pictures. They even have costumes for us to snap some silly pictures. Absolutely loved it! ??
Ghost Museum Best In Penang, They have a local ghost and also have a other country ghost. You need to bring your family. They dont have any ghost jumpscare.
The Ghost Museum is great fun!! It’s a gem of a museum that teaches about ghosts from many different Asian cultures. It’s crafted with care and offers grisly gore without any jump scares (thank goodness). There are lots of costumes and props for photo ops. And the staff is delightful. Highly recommended!
