Is a good place for hiking because up there don't have any special things can do. I when there around Feb 12pm and the weather is very hot...... You can take the buggy car to avoid hiking Rm30 per car then they will bring you go through the hiking road. End of the road is a cafe you can enjoy coffee or breads sometime. But if you need enjoy the cafe when you out 1. Self walk out 2. Need to extra pay RM15 to other buggy car that you meet infront of the cafe. Cable car can refer the picture. Recommend to buy the express ticket if many people because express users will in first then other free place is for normal ticket. Ps normal ticket users is hard to move forward if express users is many, you will wait and wait and wait

Fun ride up and down Penang hill. We went on a Friday afternoon around 1pm, there was no queue at the ticket office, and we were able to get onto the next ride after getting the tickets. It was fun to sit in the front cabin and take video of the whole ride.

Highly recommended, take a return trip’ ride up to the top, it’s 700 metres above sea level, and down again. Great views looking down on George Town and across to the mainland. I recommend paying to enter ‘The Habitat’ at the top, and take a 45 to 1 hour easy and level walk on excellent footpaths, with amazing views of the forested mountains, a one way walk with included return by golf buggy. 15 minute wait up, less for down, 9am bank holiday Saturday.

The train and station were very organised and the ride went smoothly. The views from the top were absolutely stunning, with the whole island and beautiful skyline all around. Was informed later that it is even better at night. We didn't purchase tickets in advance but the ticket counter was efficient and we didn't wait in the line very long. The express tickets are worth buying as the queue for that boards first and you can potentially find a seat or a window view in the train based on preference. Highly recommended!

Firstly- get an Express ticket. The queues are long if you don’t get an Express Ticket. The ride up and down is fast and the Security Personnel are polite, helpful and efficient. It is cooler at the top and has a lovely view. It does not cost much, so it is worth doing, just for the experience.
